HR 2035 Foundation
AI in HR Governance. The future of work.

HR2035 Research Framework

Shaping the Future of HR in the Age of AI

At the heart of the HR2035 Foundation’s work is a research ecosystem built on six interconnected domains, all anchored in Core Human Ethics and framed by ethical AI governance. This approach ensures that as HR transformation occurs, responsibility, fairness, and transparency remain central.

Core Human Ethics

The anchor of the framework. Every insight, model, and recommendation is guided by principles of dignity, fairness, inclusion, and accountability.

The Six Research Domains

1. Workforce Foresight

Exploring demographic, societal, and technological signals to anticipate how the global workforce will shift over the next decade.

2. Adaptive HR Models

Designing fluid, AI-enabled operating systems for HR that evolve with business needs, workforce dynamics, and regulatory changes, leveraging AI in HR effectively.

3. Capability Ecosystems

Building interconnected networks for skills, reskilling, and lifelong learning, enabling people to reinvent themselves across careers.

4. Experience Architecture

Embedding trust, wellbeing, and inclusion into the very design of work and workplaces, creating environments where people thrive.

5. Policy & Regulation Futures

Analysing how employment law, global workforce policy, and AI regulation will reshape HR practices and workforce rights.

6. Value Intelligence

Developing new metrics that capture not only business performance, but also human contribution and societal impact.

AI Governance (Outer Frame)

Encircling the entire framework, ethical AI governance ensures that research and practice are grounded in responsibility, transparency, and ethical oversight. It is not a single pillar, but the guardrail for all six domains.

What We Do With Our Research

The HR2035 Foundation helps organisations move from insight to impact by:

🔸Shaping Strategy – aligning workforce foresight with long-term business goals.

🔸Guiding Policy – translating AI and employment regulation into practical steps.

🔸Building Capability – defining future skills and supporting reskilling strategies.

🔸Designing Experience – creating people-centred, AI-enabled workplaces.

🔸Measuring Value – developing new metrics to show the impact of HR transformation.
